John Westwood – Chairman John has 32 years experience in the energy industries. He initially spent 12 years in oil & gas business, working in the North Sea, S E Asia, South America and the USA. He has since spent 20 years as a consultant to organisations including government agencies in five countries, the European Commission’s Energy Directorate and the Office of his Highness the President of The UAE. Work on strategies relating to the energy sectors includes oil & gas, conventional and nuclear power generation, renewable energy and energy trading. |

Andrew Reid – Managing Director Andrew is based at DWL’s Aberdeen office. Previously at Ernst & Young, Andrew engaged as an M&A advisor exclusively focused on the energy industry managing a series of buyside and sellside mandates, in addition to valuations, strategic reviews, and corporate development projects. Andrew also has extensive experience as an energy analyst including market modelling, forecasting, and due-diligence studies and was also a sellside equity analyst responsible for European oil service coverage with investment bankers Simmons & Company. Previously Andrew held a commercial role within a major oil service business. Andrew was educated at the University of Aberdeen and gained an MA(Hons) in Economics & Political Science, an MBA from the Aberdeen Business School, is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and member of the Corporate Finance Faculty. |

Steve Robertson BSc – Manager, Oil & Gas and Assistant Director Steve heads Douglas-Westwood’s oil and gas team and his experience with Douglas-Westwood since 2002 includes managing many commercial due-diligence studies for investment banks and private equity firms, lead author and joint author of several of the firm’s published market studies and participation in DWL’s industry-leading research in regions such as Russia and Middle East and technology areas including onshore oilfield services, drilling markets, field development, floating production and subsea processing. Authorship and joint-authorship of published studies includes The Russian Onshore Oilfield Services Market Report, The World Deepwater Market Report, The Subsea Processing Gamechanger Report, The World LNG & GTL Report and The World Floating Production Report. Steve is a graduate in Economics & Computing and is a regular speaker on the subject of oilfield services markets at industry events and conferences. |

Adam Westwood – Manager, Renewable Energy An acknowledged expert on renewable energy projects, Adam is author of the Marine Renewable Energy Report published by Elsevier and has the lead author of The World Offshore Renewable Energy Report commissioned by DTI, Scottish Enterprise's Key Facts and Figures in Renewable Energy and the recently published World Offshore Wind Report. Past research activity also includes renewable energy studies for major international companies and work on renewable energy industry business prospects worldwide. Published work includes a number of papers and articles on marine renewables and he is a regular contributor to renewable energy trade journals. |

Georgie MacFarlan – Manager, Publications Georgie heads DWL's Publications Unit. Georgie is lead author of The World Marine Propulsion Report, and also contributes to The World Floating Production Report and The World Deepwater Market Forecast, along with many of the firm's studies for oil majors and government departments and articles for industry journals. |
